Peace advocates offer agenda to panels

AN ASSEMBLY of grassroots civil society groups in Mindanao will offer an innovative 15-point agenda to GRP-MILF peace negotiating panels that will resume talks in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

In a forum, Initiatives for International Dialogue (IID) executive director Augusto Miclat, Jr. said, “Mindanao PeaceWeavers — a conglomeration of peace advocacy groups — has come up with the Mindanao People Peace Agenda (MPPA), a comprehensive 15-point agenda that aims to guide the government and MILF peace panels in finally resolving the problem.”
