PEACE Advocates Zamboanga (PAZ) in collaboration with Youth Solidarity for Peace (YSP) kicked off the 1st YSP Camp at Ebenezer Bible College, Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City last April 15-17. The activity is geared towards empowerment of PAZ’s youth volunteers to handle relevant and significant issues of peace and the proper management of issues through a trainers training. It was an opportune time to celebrate successful stories of the youth as they spread through the years the culture of peace in their respective communities.

Participants came from diverse backgrounds of local society while representing various youth organizations and affiliations. Most of them being fresh graduates and new volunteers of the  organization expressed greater interests in the promotion of peace as recognized Young Peace Weavers of the present generation.
