ZAMBOANGA CITY –  IN what could be a breakthrough following the breakaway of the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) from the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) nearly 30 years ago, its top leaders have forged an alliance agreement to reconcile their differences.

The two Moro rebel fronts have agreed to come up with a coordinating body to unify their aspirations in advancing the interests of the Moros in southern Philippines during the 37th session of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Council of Foreign Ministers in Dushanbe, Tajikistan on May 20.
